Exchanges/Returns
We, of course, hope that you are completely satisfied with your purchase from Bark Lane! However, should you receive an item which does not meet your expectations; we will work with you to rectify the situation; whether you require a refund, exchange or credit. We would like to bring to your attention the following important points regarding our internet return policy.
- All returns MUST be pre-authorized with a Return Authorization Number and must be received by us no later than 15 days following the original shipping date. We reserve the right to refuse any exchange, credit or refund on any item which does not meet this criteria. Return Authorization Numbers can generally be obtained Monday thru Saturday 12:00PM - 5:00PM EST by calling 732-295-1956 (excludes store closure days).
- All items MUST be returned in resaleable condition and in the item’s original packaging with all relevant tags, etc. Please bear in mind that you would not want to purchase an item which was returned used; and we will not resale items in an inferior condition. The final decision as to whether an item is considered “resaleable” lies solely with Bark Lane and its Directors and Employees. All decisions are final.
- Bark Lane does not cover the cost of return postage or insurance.
- Original shipping costs will be refunded on faulty or damaged goods only.
- The following items are NON-RETURNABLE:
- Custom Artwork or Ceramic pieces
- Special Orders
- Toys & Treats
- Sale Items
- Beds
All returns should be mailed to Bark Lane with the Return Authorization Number (RAN) placed in the address (see below). For your protection, we recommend that you insure your return package for the appropriate monetary amount to cover the contents of the package.
